The place was easy to find, there was plentiful parking, although close to the main arterial route it's situated in a tree lined area which felt calm and was quite quiet. The reception when we checked in were very friendly and helpful. We struggled with the key card in our door and a lovely employee who was cleaning rooms spotted this and immediately asked if we needed help and showed us how to get into the room. The room was a reasonable size but I couldn't describe it as spacious but then the price was ridiculously good for the room. A huge double bed with spotlessly clean white linen dominated the room and it was very comfortable. A desk unit with a dedicated desk lamp and chair linked to a work surface containing tea and coffee making facilities. A sign advising where to leave items to be recycled was prominently displayed on the desk. A handing rail, two bedside units with lamps and a TV completed the furnishings. The on-suite bathroom was a good size and there was a very efficient shower over the bath. Huge white bath sheets were supplied as well as hand wash and shower gel/shampoo in dispensers on the walls and the water was always really hot (with a warning sign). The room wasn't cleaned whilst we were there as the Hotel doesn't waste cleaning materials or items to be laundered unnecessarily. You are told that if you wish your room to be cleaned or more towels to advise reception but I was happy to find a hotel which allowed me to operate my room as I would at home. When we left my husband failed to pick up our key card so we managed to lock it in the room but the receptionist was really lovely about it. The hotel also had a very comfortable looking lounge and bar and a nicely laid out dinning room with patio which we didn't use. Although the place is looking a little tired in places it was a friendly, comfortable, extremely well priced place to stay and I would happily stay there again.

The hotel was good and value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequate for me being single. All the food was good and fresh. The rooms and bed are not made or refreshed each day as a matter of course, it seems you have to hang a sign outside to do this. First hotel I have stayed in that do not make your rooms up daily without being prompted too !!!

Close to transportation/ bus stop. The hotel is only 8mins walk to Oxford Brookes University- Swindon Campus- making it the best hotel for OSCE taker for International Nurses and Midwives. The bed was comfy. The carpet may be old but the room and bathroom is spacious and overall clean. Quiet surrounding areas. I wish I tried their buffet breakfast.

The room we were given was very spacious including a clean bathroom with both a shower and bath. We were given extra pillows which I thought was amazing since I normally enjoy sleeping with a few more pillows. In addition to this, the Tv worked well we had no issues and it was directly in front of the bed which was perfect.

Nice place. Easy to access if you have a car. Not too bad even with a bus. They serve dinner in a very reasonable price and good beers. The room was nice spacious and sunny. The price was very reasonable as well
